Will the REX card work with local banks and stores in Uganda?
Yes. Because REX is a Visa card, not a domestic exchange wire, the typical block on crypto-to-UGX transfers doesn't apply. You spend the card the same way you spend any debit card abroad.
Can I withdraw Ugandan Shilling at Stanbic Uganda ATMs?
Yes. Any ATM in Uganda that accepts Visa — including Stanbic Uganda, Centenary Bank, DFCU, ABSA Uganda — will pay out in Ugandan Shilling. ATM-owner fees may apply locally; REX itself adds 0.5% on Standard or 0.3% on Freedom.
Is KYC required, and what about local crypto regulations?
